PRIVACY POLICY FOR UON

1. Introduction

At UON ("we," "us," or "our"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. UON is intended only for users aged 18 and older. If you are not 18, you are not authorized to use UON.

2. Information We Collect

We collect several types of information from and about you, including:

Personal Data: Name, email address, phone number, and age verification data when you register.

Location Information: Real-time geographical location (when you enable features like live location sharing or AR).

User Content: Photos, videos, messages, and other content you post.

Event & Transaction Data: If you create events, RSVP, or purchase tickets, we collect data related to that transaction. If you purchase paid features, financial data is processed by our third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal), and we do not store full credit card details.

Device Information: IP address, device ID, and usage logs for security and analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the UON Services.

• Facilitate event creation, RSVPs, and ticketing.

Facilitate Connections: Help you find friends, dates, or professional networking opportunities using Augmented Reality (AR) and live location sharing (only with your active permission).

• Prevent fraud, enforce our User Agreement, and ensure platform safety.

• Personalize ads and content (unless you opt out).

4. How We Share Your Information

We generally do not share your personal data with third parties, with the following critical exceptions:

With Event Organizers: If you RSVP or purchase a ticket for an event found on UON, we may share your name, email, and ticket details with the Event Organizer so they can manage the guest list. UON is not responsible for how Event Organizers use your data once they receive it.

With Other Users (AR & Live Status): When you use live location, dating, networking, or AR features, your location, profile status (e.g., "Single," "Open to Work"), and bio are visible to other users within a specific range (e.g., 25 meters) based on your settings. By enabling these features, you acknowledge that this information is public to nearby users.

Service Providers: We share data with trusted third parties who perform services for us (e.g., payment processing, cloud hosting, customer support), subject to confidentiality agreements.

Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety of any person.

5. Third-Party Links and Events

UON may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., external ticketing sites like Eventbrite, Ticketmaster). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party sites. If you leave UON to buy a ticket, the information you provide there is governed by their privacy policy, not ours.

6. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a resident of California, you have specific rights regarding your personal information:

Right to Know: You can request details about the categories of personal information we collect and share.

Right to Delete: You can request the deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.

Right to Opt-Out: You have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To exercise these rights, please contact us at support@uonapp.com.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data as long as your account is active or needed to provide services. You can request account deletion via the app settings. We will remove your data unless legal obligations (e.g., tax records, law enforcement preservation) require us to keep it.

8. Information Security

We use commercially acceptable security measures to protect your data. However, no transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Geo-Location Safety Warning

For your safety: We strongly advise against posting content geotagged within a 2-mile radius of your home. While UON allows precise location sharing, disclosing your home address poses potential risks. UON is not liable for incidents resulting from your decision to share your location.

10. Child Safety Standards (Zero Tolerance)

Although UON is for users 18+, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

Detection & Reporting: If we detect CSAM, we will immediately remove it and report it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement.

Contact: For child safety concerns, contact our designated representative at:
